wh engineering works with facility management personnel, studies the building application and HVAC system details to determine the possible area with its air system that may be conteminated by the _SARS-Cov2 virus. A testing strategy will be developed for air sample collecting locations, duration and methodologies. It has become clearer day-by-day that the SARS-Cov2 virus contained inside the droplets (shedding from Covid-19 patients, with symptons or without symptons) may become airborn in certain building temperature, RH and airflow conditions, and spreaded to large area that is served by the same or related HVAC system. _ CDC has documented that a single asymptomatic covid patient has caused 94 person who shared the same HVAC system to become infected in South Korea.

WH Engineering has developed a stragegy to remove other contaninents in the airtream, and capture only SARS-Cov2 or the virus in small droplets that will pose significant threat to the occupants who are even protected by regular medical masks. The sample collection duration is based on the airflow rate of normal person's breathing air comsumption in certain period of time.

The sample will be sealed in the approved filter holder, placed in a sealed plastic bag with biohazard label, marked with project number only, & kept refrigerated before it is delivered to certified local lab.

 
RT-PCR ANALYSIS WILL ONLY BE CONDUCTED IN THE LOCAL CERTIFIED LABS

The CDC guideline will be followed for SARS-Cov2 testing. The 45 repetitions of RT-PCR test will be conducted at the lab. The report, with project number and Ct value, will be forwarded to WH directly. The report will be kept confidential by WH and the result may only be discussed with the client(s) to develop an abatement strategy for the safe reopening of the building(s).
